I think Superhero Fatigue killed it for me. by Fullofkittens 07/17/2024, 8:57am PDT It's well-made and everything - and the bit in Season 1 with the dolphin in the van was maybe the hardest I'd laughed at a TV show in years when I saw it - but I'm just so done with superhero shit at this point. If you told me the best show on TV was the new Marvel show I'd just give you a smile and a thumbs up and go right back to watching these scrappy kids on Hulu fight about whether they want their restaurant to shoot for a Michelin star. I no longer care about superheroes. They did a great job in the 2010s, they wrapped it up nicely with AVENGERS: ENDGAME, and now it's over. You got a great satire for me? Awesome, what is it? Oh, superheroes. -_- I've come to realize that I have extremely normie opinions in most regards, so I think this is probably a very mainstream sentiment.
