Once again I've passed on Skyrim but wanted a first-person fantasy exploration experience so I rolled the dice on Legend of Amberland:
This is supposed to be a throwback to the Might and Magic 3-Xeen games with modern QoL improvements. Yeah, I checked and Might and Magic 3 looked MUCH better than this. As for these QoL changes, I don't see them. The music is annoying and half the classes in the game are useless. Apparently the perfect party is one knight, four warriors, and two healers.
It's a modern remake of a BAD might and magic clone from the 80s/early 90s. Or maybe I'm still spoiled by Lords of Xulima's actual modern QoL improvements on the classic cRPG formula. Nevertheless:
