The first impression for this game was great. Still is great. It starts out playing like Halo, with you playing a relatively slow chonky robot with heavy emphasis on aimed shots (most of the enemies in the game are literally shaped like bullseyes) and the level generation always gave you the tactical choice of going from the ground level to maximize collection of quickly-evaporating powerups, or taking the high ground and sniping safe from all the landmines enemies toss willy-nilly.
But by the endgame you have a jetpack, grappling hook, superjump, and so many other movement abilities it turns into Doom Eternal. But while Roboquest is a great Halo, it's a mediocre Doom Eternal.
