Let me break down my position for you. by Injustice 09/04/2024, 10:20pm PDT Everyone supports the teachers until it's time to decide who lives and who dies. Then they want to put all that power in the hands of a cop. A cop! At least teachers are in the same building with the shooter. It's possible they might even know the shooter. No one is in a better position to assess and address the threat of a child with a gun than a teacher or possibly social worker with a gun. I might even extend that to a clinical psychologist with a gun, if I believed in that hoodoo. It's all well and good to say it should be the parents's job to shoot their own children but that's just not the world we live in. Until every parent becomes a responsible gun owner with the Scott Adamsian will to do what is necessary, the best we can do is advise our teachers on the top five .380s for concealed carry based on our collective experience in video games. I am uniquely qualified to comment given that I also have some live-action LEO experience from TJ Hooker. TL;DR you can trust teachers to exercise good judgment in a shoot because they know their union isn't going to have their back.
