He drinks and fucks and cracks wise and would wear an eyepatch and call the crew "me hearties" if he could. Picard, you know, acted mostly like an actual captain in an actual, professional navy. You know, like an adult, compared to Kirk's "overgrown boy scout". That's right, Carol. David had it right.
