My brother really got into Might and Magic... might have been M&M2. They're both great. I think I found the M&M game to be a bit overwhelming at times. So I would just be going off personal experience. I think the graphics for Bard's Tale 1 & 2 are a little more subdued and a little less cartoony than Might and Magic. But I'd sit teenage me down in front of any of them and know that a good time would be had.
