| We actually JUST finished Season 1 a few nights ago. I watched the first one and then forgot about it for a couple years, which was good since now we don't have to wait years for season 2.
Love it! Blackwater is correct that it doesn't really need reveals since the concept is so cool to begin with. However, they insist on doing reveals, which are fine. I don't much care about that, I just enjoy the whole... the whole situation there, what with the severance and all. It has one glaring flaw, which is EXACTLY the same thing that was the glaring flaw in the movie "Annihilation". In both movies, a bad actress (Jennifer Jason Leigh in Annihilation, Patricia Arquette here) is playing a gruff, worn-down, grumbling woman who knows too much and has been there too long. I don't know why this became a thing, but I want it to stop. Now. NOW. |
