Some thoughts.
I liked the fact that he was trying to tell a story. More backrooms games should do this.
The floating text gimmick makes sense, but I think this would have worked better with someone speaking the lines instead. Obviously that would probably have been cost-prohibitive but I think it would have added a lot to this. In my experience, when I ran through an area I sometimes missed some floating text and wasn't able to make it come back again.
The story was OK. Thoughtful. Not scary enough, tho! |
