This is no sequel, it's a reskin of Fights in Tight Spaces in a less-cool setting. And when I say "reskin" I mean the cards are identical to the first game.
The art is a downgrade and it doesn't make sense when my bulky fighter with a sword and kite shield suddenly does a backwards 360 degree flipkick. Now there's a plot and characters and holy hell do I not need to read my fighter verbally jousting with the innkeeper at the start of every goddamn run.
Apparently the one big change is in the late-game you can get up to 3 characters simultaneously who share a single deck and power pool, except certain cards can't be used by certain classes. I didn't get that far and it sounds like a nightmare.
If you're even slightly interested in this game, you can get Fights in Tight Spaces Complete for cheaper and have the same game with cooler visuals and music. |
