There's a few NFL teams that will have backup QB problems this year, as they always tend to do, and with mine probably being one of them this year I could see paying attention to the AFL in order to get fired up about bringing somebody from that league in.
The Sporting News was just pimping ol' Jake Delhomme as a viable option for a team looking for a QB who is good and relatively inexpensive. Dallas, maybe, but I think Parcells will make a run for Plummer. I've always liked Delhomme, I remember the one start he made a few years back when both of the Billy Joes were hurt. Didn't he win that game? I just remember his enthusiasm and the way the players seemed to pep up around him, like Browns players around Holcombe this season.
