This might be a good opportunity to discuss what makes a good youtuber.by Jerry Whorebach Today, 3:38am PST
I guess I'm of the opinion that a youtuber should be an entertainer first, and an expert on infectious diseases or whatever a distant second. I like Lazerpig because his videos are reasonably funny and VERY well-edited. I'm not the biggest fan of his "I don't have an allergy to alcohol" schtick, but if that was a dealbreaker for me then John Ford wouldn't be my favourite director (which he is, keep up). I don't know jack shit about army stuff. Someone in this thread was upset because Lazerpig didn't consider the T-34 the best tank ever, which immediately makes me skeptical of his criticism because I looked it up and that tank was from World War II. You're telling me they haven't made anything better since? That's like saying the best album is still by Elvis - unlikely!
Anyway, I mainly made this post to complain about a channel called "The Electric Underground." He's like the icycalm of videogames. He's right about everything and is going to explain in excrutiating detail why Final Fight is the purest distillation of etc etc. I'm not saying I disagree, I'm just not sure why I would want to listen to all that? I'm either going to be nodding my head in agreement the whole time or spinning my finger around my temple in a cuckoo gesture. (Or maybe both, I'm pretty coordinated.) Did Lazerpig ever make a video on Dan Akroyd's The Avro Arrow? I'm kind of an expert on that, rah rah it was the best and we should bring it back instead of buying the F-35 and especially instead of buying anything else besides the F-35. In conclusion, the best youtube channel is a playlist of Spawn: The Album.
