Tried a few rounds but nothing about it grabbed me. I couldn't find anything interesting about "coins falling down", and there's just a bunch of random shit happening?
The "game" is just inserting coins from the left or right, and you can buy special coins with specific powers. But you aren't building a "hand" - all the coins are one-time use. There are also slots for power-ups like Balatro's jokers - but they didn't feel like anything you could build a strategy around.
It also doesn't fit what I want for a chilling on the couch game, since you have to keep feeding coins all the time to keep your multiplier up... once you stop scoring it falls in real time.
Maybe the real problem is that poker is cool and classy and played by people like James Bond. But coin pusher games are obvious scams that only idiots and 11 year-olds would fall for. |
