This is a game where you're supposed to come in relatively blind and confused.
I'll just give the most basic description of gameplay. First it's a match-3 game where you have a limited number of moves to match and remove and rearrange the terrain tile on a grid map with your home castle in the middle. Then you spend the resources you gathered to hire troops and resource gatherers. Finally the troops defend your castle in an auto-battle. Rinse and repeat.
