Ultimately it feels like you just play Pac-Man to get ammo for the Galaga game. by pinback 09/12/2026, 5:09am PDT You can clear a level either by clearing the Pac-Man maze, or clearing the Galaga level. But the Pac-Man maze is HUGE and even without ghosts chasing you it would take a long time to empty out, whereas the Galaga level is... you know, a Galaga level. So if your goal is to clear levels (which, this is why we play the games, right? To progress?) you'd definitely ONLY play Galaga. Except in this game Galaga has limited ammo which slowly builds back up when you're playing Pac-Man. Which is fine, it's an interesting combination of the games, I just wish there was more reason to play Pac-Man than just to get bullets for Galaga. Because it's a really good Pac-Man game! And it is a much better Pac-Man game than the Galaga game is a Galaga game. If... if you see what I mean. I am very thankful that the developer is still creating wonderful games like this, but I think I'll probably just go back to the original Pac-Man Brothers. I like Galaga a lot, but I love Pac-Man, way, way, way, way more.
