Years ago, back before cell phones, I was driving somewhere in the middle of the night and I couldn't find shit. Back then in those dark days, we had to use radios, and there were these individual buttons, and that was all you got, had to check those fucker. Nothing but commercials or shit, so I hit the other button which was Seek, and left it on that. More shit, nothing but shit in the middle of the night. There was this one station I found though, I think it was switching formats or something. They just had this clip from a sound effects record probably, construction noises. Cement trucks, jack hammers and ball peen hammers, lots of heavy equipments, all on a loop, all of it commercial-free. I started to recognize the pattern after a while, almost a musical quality to it. I would check to see once in a while, but by God I left it on that construction noise station all night. Wished they had more stations like that, other tracks from the same album maybe. Anyway, been listening to this guy lately.
