Since there isn't hardly any way to tell what forum is for what in the basement, no?

To be fair, those war threads started with a link to some motherfucking news site, so it was kinda the right forum. And I'm an idiot so don't hold my techsupport question in Rants as an indicator. Or do, see if I care. My confusion stemmed from the fact that the lower forums have new names. But Rants and News have taken off lately, compared to when most of the conversation was in the nether forums, so to speak. Dunno what it means.

Would it be painfully gay to have a forum descriptor next to the forum name?

Most of the posts in the basement belong elsewhere but who cares? Anybody "claimng" a forum in the name of whatever topic is only as successful as the people that subsequently adhere (or not) to that topic. I sort of like being able to throw anything anywhere. But if it's decided you want forum descriptors, how about finding a way to, ugh, sticky a thread?

To be honest this and the "admins should post less" and the whole INC frakus are taking us away from just fucking posting. Natural order is always more morbidly fascinating than conscripted order anyway.

Allowing those mammoth fucking news threads to spin off into parallel related threads in other forums actually makes arguments easier to follow for me.
