"ATI drivers are getting better" -- lots of people, circa lately. "GeForce 4 is loud and only slightly better, lots more expensive" -- reviews So, here I am with a 9700. The video intro in Command and Conquer stutters to the point of unwatchability, the mission briefings/loading screens also have BG music/video stutter. Those two elements worked perfectly on my GeForce 2. You fucking LOSE, ATI. Also, hopefully my 1.1 Ghz CPU is the bottle neck that gives Doom 3 a measely 10 to 15 FPS. |
