It has to do with why I believe in a socialist-capitalist hybrid system, or maybe 'capitalism within certain boundaries', and a fuckload of statistics that I am overwhelmingly incapable of dealing with. Fortunately, I have a good friend who is better with this kind of thing than me, and I've enlisted his aid. There are some problems with capitalism in that it assumes certain things about human nature that, like socialism, aren't true - and no, I'm not talking about the fact that some people are generous at all.

If this seems confusing and vague, it's because I don't want to say anything before I'm sure the numbers back me up, and also that I'm pretty confused myself.
