Think Sim City on a smaller scale, and instead of directing traffic and building rail lines and shit, you are directing guards to the weapon racks and directing their gunfire into infiltrators bodies. Altho I was never really into sim city because after a certain point I couldnt get my dumb cities to stay happy without them just fucking collapsing grinding to a halt and generating absolutely no money, but I was like 12 or something and it was the SNES version.
This game is pretty damn cool because there's a sort of austin powers dr evil motif going on in your base, but more evil and more funny. And of course you control the levels of evil and construct evil training grounds, evil barracks, and evil money storage rooms. The demo doesn't let you create any of the really advanced stuff like super secret evil chemical weapons and evil laser beams, but you do get to capture and torture some good guy soldiers, and then choose to either interrogate them to death, put them back in their cell to be released, or execute them on the spot, evilly. Also, for some reason there is a freezer room where dead enemies are stored, but as far as I could tell all that those bodies are used for is meat to feed your minions (ew). There's a few other things but you should just really go check out the demo.
I did have one problem with shutting down the demo, it gives me some wacky error and recommends that I install a service pack which windows says I can't even download now. But the game still works. |
