THE FUCKING AMOUNT OF TIME IT TOOK TO GET THE GODDAMN SOFTWARE FOR THIS SHIT WORKING WAS UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE.

Seriously, every goddamn step of this one has been a titanic struggle against scripting and compatibility issues up the goddamn ass. I have no idea WHY this is so, why apache and Postgres and Postfix work but stunnel and OpenSSL are so problematic, but apparently some major products don't like to put out buggy releases and some simply don't care. In any case, it's all mostly resolved now.
