The storm totally missed south west Florida. The hurricane party I went to was such a disappointment, it didn't even start raining until 36 hours later. That isn't to say we didn't use the opportunity to drink lots and act like fools at the deserted beach, anyway.
"Watch me catch this OMG massive (2 foot) wave on my boogie board!" then soon noticing the wind pushed me half a mile down the beach before I caught the first wave. Okay, this is dumb, back to drinking! |
