No computers were used to WRITE the songs? I would've never guessed! Anyway, off the top of my head I can think of two other albums that featured proud and similarly accusatory disclaimers (both of these are paraphrased from memory):
SLAYER -- Live: Decade of Aggression. "No overdubs were used in these recordings"
CANNIBAL CORPSE -- Tomb of the Mutilated. "Electronic harmonizer was not used to create any vocals on this album"
...and what I mean to say by pointing out these two likeminded bands is that it's really gay and juvenile. Keep fighting the good fight though, White Stripes. Recording engineers around the world rejoice because you refuse to use a computer to master the album. |
