This was the first console review I've read. It showed research: He knew who the designer was, obviously followed the game enough or researched it enough to dig up some damning and telling quotes from him, broke the game down to it's component parts as the designer did, then proceeded to deconstruct each of those component parts. The humour was excellent and the OMMesque "gay" comments actually fit this game. It's one longish page, not three pages needlessly split out (we're not displaying banner ads, why do we need extra pages?) I found it very well written. It didn't delve into "when you get to Chapter2, make sure you talk to Enzo who will give you the cake that you need for Chapter3" gameplay bits that some others do - Reviews shouldn't do that, strategy guides do. I've been considering writing a review myself but I'm quite disheartened with most games right now. I'm replaying IWD2 and not having much fun with it, I recently bought RTCW to play online. If anyone around here still plays that I'd love to get a game going. Also, Wolftactics, a new mod for it was just released Friday, also, RTCW: Enemy Territory, a new, FREE FULL GAME from activision is out NOW! (well, a test is) and it looks fantastic. A lot of stuff added, new classes, modified stuff, experience, levels, etc. Let me know if anyone wants to play.

RPG fans, especially BDR: Check this out. By Troika, ex-Fallout developers. A new infinity-esque D&D RPG, with an engine that looks like it kicks infinity's ass. About time. Check the spell effects - in the trailer a spell pops a monster up into the air with him landing with a dust puff. Looks mighty tasty.
