One of the assignments for my Global Strategic Business class (a class that has already demoralized me like no other) involves developing a Corporate Elimination Strategy targeting Dell Computers.
Since Dell has so much riding on their Just-In-Time Inventory system (my complete idea is long and complex and involves setting up SBE's to short Dell's stock etc, and then finally sticking child porn onto Michael Dell's home computer), I was going to recommend having some hackers hit their servers with a worm designed to create fake orders, both for customers and parts. The question I have (and I can hear the professor asking it now) is "Where do you get the hackers?". So-called "legit" hackers probably wouldn't take the job, or would ask for enormous sums of cash if theyu did. That leaves the nice little illegal groups, like the ones that hacked Microsoft a few years back. I basically need a strategy for contacting these guys (recruitment strategy amounts to briefcases full of unmarked $100's).
Any recommendations?
Cyrris
My initial strategy called for sending two "hired guns" (preferrably former KGB) to Toronto/China/whocares disguised as health inspectors/doctors to acquire samples of the SARS virus. A member of the Austin, Texas Bomb Squad would also be bribed. A fake bomb threat would then be called into Dell's HQ. When the bomb squad arrived, an aerosol can with a remotely activated release containing the SARS virus would be dropped into a garbage can in one of the main floors (preferrably near a ventilation system) (anyone ever read "Executive Orders"?). Once the squad gives the all clear, and just before the employees re-enter, the aerosol can would release the SARS virus into the building. Employees go back in, get infected, spread the virus, and as soon as anyone figures out whats going on, its too fucking late for Dell's HQ (and hopefully some of their key employees). Our bribed Bomb Squad member would suffer an unfortunate accident (courteosy of our KGB boys), while the KGB's are paid off and sent out of the country with the suggestion of possibly more work in the future with more pay (don't want them turning on us).
This idea was passed over by my group because its considerably more illegal (and hence riskier) than my computer virus idea. Oh well. |
