Here's the real answer, btw, to why I made this thread by Senor Barborito 04/30/2003, 11:38pm PDT When I deleted the posts in question, I was somewhat groggy and forgot to kill the internal data structures that new threads have but reply posts do not. This caused an odd rendering error in the forum code code for Rants such that there were 14 lines of whitespace between the 'forum overview' and the first non-deleted thread (teh suk). Not quite sure why, yet, I just posted a garbage post (this thread) to see if posting a new thread helped clear the problem up - read: where it rendered. The whitespace between this thread and the previous non-deleted one clued me in as to the exact nature of what I was forgetting (ES mentioned it to me for the first time only a couple weeks ago, thankfully, and somewhat frighteningly). Anyways, ES, if you ever see whitespace after deletion - this is why. --SB
