I don't think it was an orgasm, or she'd have just started wolfing down the rest of the cake. I got the impression that it just got her very aroused, so she ran off the ladies room to rub the nub. Frenchie ran off to the ladies room to provide a helping hand, as less-than-subtly alluded to by Persephone.

Yes. The scene was there for three points: 1. to set up Persephone being pissed about Frenchie's dalliances, 2. to show our emotional nature, and most obviously 3. to follow along with Frenchie's cause and effect speech. Points 1 and 2 weren't made very well, which can be seen from the confusion and boredom from the space-nerd/movie critic contigient.
