Any further word on the US pulling bases out of Germany and deploying them in Poland? (Poland of course a "Major" player in New/improved Gulf War.) Also, would this at all put any stress on the German economy vis-à-vis the huge pipeline of cash the US pays to allow a substantial rapid deployment force on German soil? Not less significant, a large city worth of US military/support personal and families all uprooting and leaving? Or would it have no economic impact at all? It was in the news for a moment when Poland was given authority over an entire Iraqi "zone," and then quickly vanished into the bacrground noise.
