man, i tell you what. of all the little web board dramas i have seen, why is it
that the truth is always so fucking hidden? its like a big fucking mystery, a
'so long' message, and no explanation whatsoever.
what is so bad about explaining what happened to some place?
why do peopel have some inherent aversion to just explaining things?
the examples i think of are the following:
old man murray forums.
adequacy.org
the old geekizoid.com
punkrock.net
the successor to punkrock.net, whatever that was
shethinks.org
hipmama.com
mamatron.com
about 5 bazillion web portals from 1999-2000 (see ghostsites at netslaves.com for more)
its just so like, you know, so like rude and
bureaucro-bullshit
its like when these people get to heaven they are gonna find a big sign that says '404'
or 'sorry, we shut down heaven. please do not email us asking us what happened.
god and i have decided to move on with our lives. it was fun while it lasted. thanks'
