King Seven (folktronica):

Not at all anywhere near the genres I usually listen to, but holy FUCK is this good. Download at least Lotus Leaves here (ignore the remixes). He's also got some online samples from his debut 12" here. Buy the 12" in question here.

Toaster (various electronic):

Get at least vinyltouchpants here. Glitchy and superb. I haven't tried any of his others yet (56k hurts), so I can't recommend anything else.

I first got into this "indie electronic" (aka "folktronica") thing that I'm listening to now because on a whim I bought a 12" EP of Kings of Convenience remixes. The Four Tet remix of "The Weight of My Words" is so good it makes me want to puke bilious fraud vomit. I can't find that particular tune anywhere free and clear online (seek it out!), but here is another from the label's site that is in the same vein and is also really fucking great. If you don't listen to the whole thing you'll miss some good stuff, he holds some of the goodies back for quite a while.
