No seriously, you have to let characters exist on their own, and not just be shards of your psyche that do the things you tell them to. That's sounds queer and metaphysical, but that's how it is. Stop telling us things in big paragraph blocks and start letting the people in your stories do things on their own steam.

And for Christ's sake let them talk once in a while.

This particular story doesn't have any characters at all, but your little soliliquoy might (*might*) magically get interesting if it were coming out of the mouth of someone in a story about people. "Armament," lacking as it does any characters, we just have this big ramble coming out of the mouth of... you? An omniscient narrator? Basically, it's the monologue at the end of a Twilight Zone episode. Do you like that part of the Twilight Zone?

Since there's no characters and no situation, it's kind of like a poem. But I suspect that's not what you're going for. Or is it?
