| Scored a case yesterday. Preliminary experiments done last night are positive, I would now put it lateral to Grey Goose and not a full step above. Has excellent character, round arch into oblivion and not the bullet to the face that Kettle One delivers. It is from Holland, somehow this pleases me enough to award it points for being non-French. Further evaluation this weekend.
The distributor that hunted it down for me said that there is a lot of new demand, claims it will take off like Goose did, so it is probably coming to a martini bar near you. He also laid on me a case of French Ciroc which is distilled five times... I place it past Kettle one but nowhere near Goose/Effen. Liver holding out so far (note: I have essentially been drunk since april) but if there is ever a TropsCon/Great Lakes, I so have the liquor covered. |
