Well the novels I read (one or two of them) were fiction. Strange spy-type fiction. The series is called Blackford Oakes, I believe, and it is well written, has a fairly interesting plot and does the job that a spy novel should. Anyone who likes James Bond type stuff, but much more political (yet seemingly untinged by his own personal beliefs) will probably enjoy 'em. Consult your local library, kids.
