Well by jeep 09/05/2003, 1:42pm PDT
I squinted up at the Bright Day Moon Which Bites My Eyes, and scratched at the bristley red hairs I have growing all around my mouth. I didn't know where I was going, but I walked a path that seemed strangely familiar, down near some kind of railed shuttle that couldn't seem to lift off, over past the Image-Designed women who make toast of their own skin, and to a strange generic building where I had to prompt the doors to open instead of having them slide open automatically. I guess this is a sort of PA hall, and I'll have to get the leader to change the settings so the doors will start working right. No one here has radial menus or blasters, and there are no AT-STs to send me efficiently back to the cloning center, which is alright because I can't find my rocket launcher anyway. There are no dancers in the cantina next door, either, which is a problem because I definitely have some battle fatigue, or possibly mind wounds...whatever, I'm dizzy.

Also I have no credits, and I can't find a mission terminal to get some.

I sat down in a spot that looked like it might be mine, it has a similar paper pile to the one I left at the place I came from. The terminal opens not to the galactic bazaar, but a weird purple interface that seems to have no in-game purpose, and in no way contributes to the player economy. I will have to /bug it so the developers can remove it. I'll leave this here to remind me that I was at least at a terminal other than my own for a time.

Apparently there was some /bug that took all the other terminals here down and I have been literally just been asked by this PA's Leader to use The Force to fix them. Don't they know there's no fscs yet? Also, I have been lectured, spoken to, told to, and reprimanded in writing about the importance of serving one's PA for EXACTLY 8 hours per day. I keep trying to tell them the alarm system is /bugged and crashes the client to the desktop, but they're not listening. I'm told I'm only getting a small credit increase in my salary, and I'd be disaapointed but zero times anything is still zero isn't it? Not like I'm going to slice these terminals for credits.

Many but not all of the skills I've learned have changed over the last months. Some have just gotten easier or harder to learn, where others have literally changed what I could do. Also, almost all of the things that weren't here but were supposed to be are now here, so when I qualified for rocket launcher I could also actually purchase one, though it cost more than a house to do so. People here mentioned some guy named BillG but the richest people I know are all weaponsmiths.

The complexity of each action I perform increases constantly and shows no sign of decelerating in that regard. Soon there will be politicians and taxes, which I was happier without for a while, but it means I have to pick a residence close to town, or move my home further out where no one but the maulers will bother me. Fortunately I have gurrecks to deal with the maulers...if only I could find my datapad.

I'm definitely /bugging the devs on this purple screen thing, they should eliminate it or at least make it so I can pick the color.
