Anyway, this almost makes up for two things:

1. Me missing Frank's solo acoustic set at McCabe's last week because I was in NYC
2. David Lovering's "opening act" for Frank and the Catholics on the last US tour. That was awful.


If you're still listening to the Catholics then you're an even more die-hard fan than me. (Or... anyone...). I thought Teenager Of The Year was absolutely great but Cult of Ray sucked and I sort of assumed that everything after that did, too.

I don't pwn any Catholics CDs, but it's really the only way to hear Frank do Pixies songs these days. OR WAS THE ONLY WAY!!!

Teenager of the Year is the best album ever by a former frontman of a great group or something like that. It's amazing. At one of the Catholics shows he did the first seven songs from Teenager in order. It was awesome, and now I demand he does a show that is just Teenager from front to back.

Then back to front.
