Jhoh Cable (12:15:47 AM): In fact we had some kind of standoff thing in like 1999 or some shit when moom found out we were stealing money from her checking account. Jhoh Cable (12:16:10 AM): We got her PIN number so we would go to ATMs and punch it in and stuff with her card and then take like $20. Fussbett (12:16:16 AM): I'm going to start weeping ahead of time for this story. Jhoh Cable (12:16:23 AM): After a month or so we got like $200 total out. Jhoh Cable (12:16:28 AM): Okay. :( Jhoh Cable (12:16:39 AM): It gets pretty sad at some point I think! Fussbett (12:16:50 AM): Great! Jhoh Cable (12:16:59 AM): Anyway mom found out apparently, I guess she was able to find out that there were a lot of small transactions being made. Jhoh Cable (12:17:04 AM): Using her card. Jhoh Cable (12:17:14 AM): I don't know exactly how she found out, but she told the entire family that we were stealing money from her. Jhoh Cable (12:17:34 AM): Our creepy uncle came over to yell at us and one of our older sisters and they were all upset and there were threats to have us kicked out, even though we wanted to move out. Jhoh Cable (12:17:45 AM): And they talked for hours and eventually we just wanted them to shut up. Jhoh Cable (12:18:20 AM): And then when we made plans to move out our aunt came over and yelled at us with calculators and shit because we'd have to DO THE MATH!!!!!! (actual words used) on the rent and all that shit and "luxuries like renting movies!" Jhoh Cable (12:18:28 AM): It seemed more demeaning than supportive. Jhoh Cable (12:19:04 AM): And then eventually Josh told mom to shut the fuck up and we don't care as long as she leaves us alone, because we never do anything anyway. Jhoh Cable (12:19:27 AM): We ended up crying that one day that our uncle and sister came over to give us speeches about getting jobs. Jhoh Cable (12:19:41 AM): And then I was like OKAY I WILL GET A JOB AT KROGERS, and then I quit after one week of actually getting the job. Jhoh Cable (12:20:08 AM): Then we went back to doing nothing and never rebelling from anything mom wanted us to do. Jhoh Cable (12:20:25 AM): But of course on the other hand, we never really did anything, so mom would get mad at us for not cleaning the dishes and shit. Fussbett (12:20:33 AM): 1999 was a big year. Jhoh Cable (12:20:42 AM): I guess. Jhoh Cable (12:20:46 AM): It might've been 98. Jhoh Cable (12:20:53 AM): I can't even remember because all those years seem like a blur. Jhoh Cable (12:21:00 AM): I could barely remember what I had done the previous day, back then. Jhoh Cable (12:21:06 AM): I was like okay, what happened yesterday? Jhoh Cable (12:21:12 AM): Usually nothing happened yesterday, so that's why. Fussbett (12:21:40 AM): I'm going to make a documentary about the Cable family. Jhoh Cable (12:21:54 AM): It will be a depressing one! Jhoh Cable (12:22:09 AM): Actually it might've been 2000 when that shit happened with the stealing money. Jhoh Cable (12:22:15 AM): It happened over only a couple months. Fussbett (12:22:23 AM): Why did you quit Krogers? Jhoh Cable (12:24:14 AM): I was like really crying though and my uncle was at first like screaming at us and he was like I SHOULD BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU, and he's like a creepy thin 50 year old pothead who seriously looks like a pothead. Jhoh Cable (12:24:19 AM): He was threatening to kick our asses. Jhoh Cable (12:24:55 AM): Then I was crying and stuff and going on about how nothing ever happens and we don't really have lives or friends or things to do with our existence and nothing is worth doing and how we tried to move out once and mom spent the money instead, and they ended up being sort if sympathetic to us. Jhoh Cable (12:25:12 AM): Either we sold it well or we're completely justified, maybe both. |
