Forget, for the moment, that they're transparently beholden to advertisers. All you REALLY need to know is that Ziff-Davis, the publishing company behind any computer magazine you're likely to find, is single-handedly responsible for the continued employment of John C. Dvorak (a man of ordinary skills and vision) as their chief prognosticator and pundit. Your brain is too good for them.
