Just overheard at the office:
Two 50+ yr old women discussing the one of them having a colonoscopy over the weekend; with details...
Not good times, bad times.
This is the only thing we talk about at our office.
One lady's sister apparently has to take 60 Imodium a day or she shits herself while driving to the store. Crone's disease. =(
The lady whose desk I moved into might only have endometriosis, though. We're keeping our fingers crossed! She sent out a group email when she got back from her colonoscopy.
(My thinking is that endometriosis is pretty fuckin' bad, too, but since this lady's a lesbian I guess if her reproductive system gets all fucked up it's not as big a deal.)
Then they ask me about my wife's blood thing, talk a little shit about PC Services (those assholes! we laugh and laugh) and then we all make some more calls.
I forgot to be interested in sports so the Fantasy Football cubicles contain conversations that are to me like people conversations are to dogs. If you're not going to talk about everybody's medical problems, what are you going to talk about? Observing that the new girl is cutting pretty close to violating the dress code only takes 15 minutes a day. |
