Good lord, do yourself a favor and toss that right now. That's a game only the programmer's mother, Vag, and Damocles could love. Extremely botched attempt at Parasite Eve in a fantasy setting. A fraction of the fun at a hundred times the complexity. Did you think such factors as "actually inflicting damage on enemies with weapons" were overrated in PE? Did you think the gun customization was too simple, easy to understand, and addicting? Welcome to Vagrant Story where every single piece of equipment has 32 different stats so that saved games take up THREE goddamn PS1 memory card blocks. Have fun spending hours pouring over guides so you can learn the convoluted forging system so you can make a weapon that actually damages an enemy (simply using a weapon strong against beasts on beasts isn't good enough) instead of just using the reflect damage ability to kill every enemy in the game. |
