What proofreader could wade through all of that? I don't know anyone who's actually finished reading a BDR article. He is the L. Ron Hubbard of football journalism.

But the article is split into bite-sized chunks by team. For football junkies this is content Nirvana. The main problem I am having is that as someone who apparently speed-reads, I can't proofread for shit. I knew that Dominick Davis played for the Texans, it's just that when I see his name there I fill in the rest mentally. I do not like that about myself.

But other than that, I am having additional physical difficulties for the first time in my life. Lately I have been feeling like the Gone Gold guy, who vanishes for months at a time due to them lopping off new parts of his body, but he constantly comes back even better than ever. After spraining my knee (as noted a few weeks ago) I was instructed to "take it easy!" There was very little physical activity going on.

Well, ha ha ha, if you sit on your ass at work and at home for three weeks straight you run the risk of getting a pilonidal cyst -- which I did! Here's a link and it's utterly and completely disgusting. It's worse than depicted. The last time I had anything even remotely wrong with me was when I was a sophomore in college and I got "mono," which was easily fixed. I was half done with it before I knew I had it. Before that, I was six and had a problem with an infected bone near my ear. Two problems in the first twenty years -- I'll take it. Now, though, shit's piling up like I'm buying diseases at the end of Wheel of Misfortune, only instead of buying the stupid ceramic dalmations for $199 and closing out my hard-won funds I'm buying a likely dalmation attack for $199 instead. I certainly wouldn't be able to outrun them if encountered in this shape. I don't want the general reputation of CALTROPS DOT COM to be "An okay site which would be better if they updated more frequently, but they don't because the site admin is a pus-filled, leaky cripple." I've spent the other 99% of my life in an ailment-free joy bubble, this is not how things ought to be for me.

=(

the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey!

Well, I fell again in exactly the same place I fell last time and resprained my ankle, if that's any consolation. Except instead of consolation I'm actually kind of laughing at you, because hahahaha your ass leaks because you got lazy disease. Loser. And plus I can still walk.

Sites where admins are pus-filled leaky cripples can still be wildly successful, like Something Awful; sites dealing with pus-filled leaky cripples can also be wildly successful, like POE. This might just be the best thing to ever happen to us here at Caltrops. Tell me, Jonsey, have you ever considered "blogging"? In any event, I think I might know someone who speed-reads and proofreads, and you might be able to contact me about that, if you weren't about to get some sort of fearsome elbow congestion.
