Bloody cables are expensive. We ended up building an emu/divx box for around $150, though we did have some parts laying around. Then you can just park the thing next to your TV. Some of them got even more ambitious and built a MAME cabinet like an old arcade machine for about $100 more. All it took was a bit of carpentry, an old TV, and dissecting 4 old MS sidewinders. It's impossibly geeky, but it's fucking awesome to play 4 player beat 'em ups like X-men completely arcade style. |
