| Three quick things:
First, apparently there is a spacecraft heading towards Mercury. It has a home page. It is here: http://messenger.jhuapl.edu/ They are trying to answer the following questions: MESSENGER is designed to answer six broad scientific questions: So good on them. Secondly, Mars is lit so well right now that I could use it to find my way home when I am drunk, except that I don't get drunk much anymore. Two days before the ACL surgery I drank like prohibition was coming back. That was a couple months ago. I had a blackout and I felt it was time to reign it in for a little while. Having a handy planet like Mars to "light the way" home is helpful (when it was bright two years ago I definitely used it for staggering purposes) but I'm actually more interested in getting onto a telescope to see Phobos and Deimos, if that is even possible. I guess you'd need to lookup when they are not on the current dark side of Mars. And yes, I know I'm a huge fag for letting Doom determine my "favorite" moons. Lastly, I guess we found a 10th planet. I went to make a bet with the guy one cube over that there would be more than 40 Slashdot posts quoting Douglas Adams' "Persephone" bit from Mostly Harmless and he turned me down.
