Yeah, i've been sleeping on this one forever and just got around to getting it. Not bad, so far, but I haven't given it the headphone listen yet. It occurs to me that if you are a fan of this you might enjoy the early work of Van Dyke Parks, "Song Cycle" and "Discover America" being somewhat similar (at first gloss, anyway) as well as being two of the best pop albums ever. Maybe Ray will back me up on this one? |
