I'm not going to criticise her about the whole melting-pile-of-ham of thing, because when I'm that old and/or rich I also intend to let myself go. No, what bothers me is the way she seems to have adopted the speech patterns of a Dr. Moreau-era Marlon Brando. Is everyone around her too fucking polite to mention it? Or are they just so used to ignoring the elephant in the room that noone even noticed when she started trumpeting?
Noticed this during her guest spot on tonight's Law and Order. Also intriguing: How Stable is the Furniture in My Home? Am I at risk of being crushed TO DEATH? Accompanying video: a mustacheod investigative reporter tugging on an armoire, then leaping away in terror as it crashes to the ground, shattering into roughly six pieces of fibreboard. Fuck, that's just, fuck. At this point I'm pretty sure the Channel 9 News Team have given up trying to seriously compete with the unstoppable super-pairing of Channel 11 with Chopper 11, and are now just hoping to be appreciated in an ironic fashion. |
