If you're going to mine you need to take it seriously. As in tech 2 barges or the old standby of Apoc + 8 miner II's + leet mining skillz. Suicide gank macro miners to relieve the tedium.

You'll go far. Pity you missed the glory days of m0o, Biomass, the Jokers etc. If you see Lord Zap pod him. And was (the original) Homo Erectus really BDR in his HSW days?

In low sec, I'd get around 60mil an hour on bistot.
I presume you mean deep 0.0. Bistot roids wouldn't last 2 seconds in empire.

Also: people who say things like this often forget to mention the crowd of corp buddies in HACs/Battleships/Dreadnoughts etc dealing with the pathologically hauler/barge hostile NPC battleships.

High level missions = level 4 = fat loot
Considerably fatter before the level 4 mission nerf. Better off ratting in 0.0 now.

The biggest money maker in the game is tech 2 production.
Cerberus 230 mil in Jita :(

Nothing like having a fleet of dreadnoughts jump in and reduce your production line to ash, after all.
In hi-sec empire?

And what's with new people asking all these questions?
Someday all this will be yours.
