In particular, while I liked most of the album "A Passage In Time" (a sort of greatest hits collection, and the first LP I'd ever heard from them), it was "Cantara" that made me a convert. Soon I found myself buying every LP I could find. More often than not, they scored.

They opened the doors for groups like Deep Forest and Enigma, while IMO being infinitely better than either.

I knew someone would hit DCD. But I never ever would have guessed it would be you. My other bet was that someone would bring up Tori Amos.

They are a lot of fun! I like DCD! But I can never listen to DCD, through no fault of their own, without mentally attending an in-costume Vampire: The Masquerade weekend. I'm sorry. :( Though I've learned a lot more about prettiness of the Caltrops world of musical tastes than I ever thought possible. You guys are so warm. It's curious, adorable.

I like my pretty a little more icy cold and imperious. I'll have to pin up sko mixtape somewhere or another.
