The Xbox 360 was about -$126 per unit sold (but is now making a small profit per unit) while the PS3 is -$241 per unit for Sony. So the magnitude of the loss per unit is surprising (or so the article says -- I have no idea). On the "low end" PS3 consoles, it's -$306 per unit. |
