I think it's great to have the developer's high score list to give me something to aspire to, but I think it would have been nice to have a local high score list so I could track my progress. In fact, I decided that I preferred the latter to the former and threw away the score file. If you're some kind of hippie who's into karma and shit, I'll give you the satisfaction of knowing that I haven't gotten anywhere near my personal best since doing so. If only I had some record of what exactly that score was, you could nod sagely, knowing precisely the degree to which the mighty had fallen. |
