All of this time I've been referring to 3 as 2. No wonder people were confused....I am really glad I didn't stick around for the ending you describe. I haven't beat RG yet, but I can safely say I see no inkling of any such gaybomb. Sure, plenty of bits of gay, but nothing on that order of magnitude, and certainly nothing that doesn't fit JRPG's as necessarily as chicks in bikinis.
RG bonus of the day: hilariously stereotyped Native American types
I suppose that if the Japanese didn't shit on at least one foreign culture per game, it wouldn't be an RPG for them any more than it would be if they didn't force you spare bosses so they can come back again and again (which RG has only done to a minor degree thus far). |
