Sony to Europe: we're taking precautions to make sure you don't buy this PS3 by Zseni 02/23/2007, 5:50pm PST
HMV, Woolworths, Argos, Game and Amazon said they could still offer PS3s for March 23. Play.com said demand was greater than for the Wii or Xbox, but that it was avoiding stock shortages.

An Argos spokesman added: "We have been taking pre-orders for the PS3 since the start of February and demand has been extremely high. In fact this has been our most successful pre-order campaign for a console ever. We still have plenty of stock."

1. Arbitrarily reduced PS2 backwards compatibility

2. Removed motion sensing technology

3. Costs more than US or Japanese model

Sony hates success. Tewt's secret?
