Here's the one thing I can't answer for you: let's say you're sitting down with either the X-Arcade or Slikstik solution, and attempting to play Robotron. Are the things... stable? I can quite easily see them moving about in all directions because there is no weight "down" on the thing, when both of your hands are moving the joysticks. It would be the most irritating thing in the world if there was a lot of play you have to focus on keeping the joystick base in front of you. And everyone knows that you can't focus on extraneous shit when you are playing Robotron.

I don't know, maybe they come with a roll of double-sided duct tape.
